About the event

Actor readings of first-person accounts of slavery.  These narratives were collected in the 1930's as a part of the Federal Writers' Project of the Work Projects Administration (WPA).

Relive several real life stories of love, laughter, hate and fear as local actors bring their stories to the stage via SoMo Arts.  Directed by Enrika M. Sissle.
